Aloe vera, or Aloe barbadensis, is a plant with a short stem that stores water in its leaves. She is also known as "Ghritkumari" in Hindi. Aloe vera contains vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B9, and vitamin B12. It also contains minerals such as calcium, copper, sodium, magnesium, potassium, selenium, manganese, zinc, etc.
The leaves of the aloe vera plant are full of a soft, transparent gel, which is still praised today for its moisturizing action and other healing effects. People in Greece, Egypt, India, Mexico, Japan, and China have used aloe vera for centuries for its supposed benefits.
