Customer forum question:
What is a migraine with aura? Anonymous customer's question
Pharmacist's answer:
A migraine with aura (also called classic migraine) is a recurring headache that occurs after or simultaneously as sensory disturbances, called aura. Migraine with aura symptoms may include flashes of light, blind spots, other vision changes, or tingling in the arm or part of the face. Although a migraine aura is unpleasant, it is not dangerous.
Migraine with aura may begin as a less noticeable light that sometimes includes bright geometric lines and shapes in your field of vision. This visual aura can expand into a sickle or C-shaped object with zigzag lines on the leading edge. As it moves, it may appear to grow. Although migraine auras cannot be prevented entirely, there are some things you can do to reduce the length, severity, and frequency of attacks.
